Chef’s Lounge Event at GreenLeaf on July 11th – Come Visit Us!

July 6th, 2011

GreenLeaf is happy to be the home for a Chef’s Lounge event from 3pm to 6pm on Monday, July 11th!

Candise and Rich will host and Chef Kevin Kerciu of A Tastful Affair will be making some appetizers. Chef’s Lounge invites you to bring your own wine and goodies to share (not mandatory). Most importantly, bring your good cheer and conversation … and, get ready for 3 hours of escapism from your daily hustle & bustle to share camaraderie with fellow foodies! Please feel free to extend an invitation to others that you feel would enjoy this event.

“Chef’s Lounge”, created by Todd Spanier – the “King of Mushrooms”, is where food pros, wine makers, brewers, foodies, mushroom people and the occasional purveyor come together for an informal night of food, wine and conversation. It’s a nice, light-hearted evening of some networking, sharing some wine and/or beer, drinking, sharing dishes, sharing lies and all-around fun. Chef’s Lounge is held on the first Monday of the month.

Chef’s Lounge is on Facebook! Check them out here.

We’re really looking forward to the upcoming Taste of Mendocino event at Fort Mason, so we can enjoy the outstanding array of wine and food that the area produces, without the extra 2 hour drive! A county well known for its long and rich history of wine growing, organic food and environmental stewardship, Mendocino is abundant with wine makers, craft distillers, artisan producers, grassfed beefranchers and more. The marketplace at the event will include over 60 wineries, organic beer, olive oil, preserves, eggs, cheese, and grassfed beef and lamb producers, as well as tastings from local Mendocino restaurants.
