Warehouse Lead (PM Shift)

The Warehouse Lead on the Overnight Shift is responsible for helping to oversee the warehouse operations at nighttime with the goal of ensuring excellent performance.  This position works with the Night Operations Manager and the entire department team to implement the company's business plan and ensures the company's objectives are met with those of the Food Safety/HACCP program. Responsibilities will include assuring the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting root cause analysis of inventory errors.  Will ensure that the warehouse staff is trained in proper inventory accountability. 

This position will apply sound communication and motivational techniques in developing, supervising, and coaching team members.  The Warehouse Lead will also provide safety instruction to personnel as needed (formal / informal) and will ensure that safety programs are being adhered to. Will report all work related injuries to Human Resources immediately.  Proficiency in Spanish a plus.   

The successful candidate will be willing to work the overnight shift and be available for weekend work. A B.A. or A.A. degree in business is preferable with a minimum of two years warehousing or supervision experience.  You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or distribution software.  

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Rep is a pivotal position you'll partner with outside sales, customer service and operations teams to grow existing customers, develop new clients and to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas. If you can do all this while increasing customer satisfaction we need to talk!

The successful Inside Sales Rep must be a self-motivator, who's able to organize themselves to place 30-50 calls a day. This is no typo! Your goal is to introduce and sell all GreenLeaf services including fresh produce, dairy, artisan cheeses, and specialty products. You must love working in a fast-paced (spin on a dime), flexible (walk to the dock to see what's fresh) environment, and to develop and maintain good business relationships (sometimes that means having a thick skin, like a dry farmed tomato). You'll be motivated by providing excellent customer service while increasing sales. It's great if you are motivated by earning money, because at GreenLeaf we reward you for growing the business. You will never be bored.

The successful candidate works with Marketing, Sales, and Buying Departments to assure appropriate efforts and provides product and pricing information quickly. It's imperative that you accurately process client transactions. You will also fill requests for marketing materials, product data or samples and will maintain supplies of all marketing materials in the GreenLeaf offices.

Qualified candidates should have a B.A. degree preferably in business or culinary arts with a minimum of two years sales experience with a proven track record of inside sales successes. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and distribution software with the ability to run financial reports.

Outside Salesperson (Sacramento Area)

Our successful Outside Specialty Sales candidate will focus on retaining and expanding the order base of current GreenLeaf customers, will grow our business in the Sacramento area by leaps and bounds and will bring lost business back to the fold. Our expanded product line, which includes fine cheeses, dairy and frozen specialty items will assist you in reaching our mutual sales goals. You will need outstanding customer service skills and the ability to upsell our product line to current customers and have the confidence and sales chops to win over new clients. A working knowledge of the food/restaurant scene in the Sacramento area is a must.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate must be self motivating and have the ability to organize themselves to attain sales goals. You'll need a minimum of 2+ years of sales experience, a food background, verifiably clean DMV record and the willingness to "get it done." The ideal candidate must be motivated by results and making money.

Ideally, you'll have a B.A. in sales or business and have experience in a professional kitchen. Culinary school training is a big plus. Driver

Candidates must have a clean DMV record with a valid California Class C or Class B License, knowledge of the SF Bay Area and good customer service skills.  Proficiency in English required (verbal and written.)  Proficiency in Spanish a plus. 

The Driver is responsible for delivering customer orders accurately and in a safe and timely manner.  Ensures customers consistently receive the best level of service.  Must handle customer complaints with respect and solve customer issues or challenges immediately.  Will be responsible to communicate information about new seasonal produce with customers and will review customer credits and returned product with the floor supervisor.

1+ years previous bobtail driving experience required and produce/restaurant knowledge preferred.  Must be available to work early morning shifts and weekends and be able to lift 50 lbs.  Must have a clean DMV record.
