At GreenLeaf, the concept of “specialty” not only applies to our exceptional produce, but also to our comprehensive line of essential kitchen ingredients. GreenLeaf works with local and international producers and suppliers alike, and we’ve built a fantastic assortment of truly special products from which to choose, plus all the basics too. You’ll find imported Italian dried pasta, and fresh locally-made pasta. Premium chocolate, dried fruits, nuts, herbs and spices are all available, as are a range of organic and conventional canned tomatoes, extra virgin olive oils and premium vinegars made in Napa Valley. We have local honey, a wide variety of antipasti, even specialty woods for grills and wood-burning ovens.

We are continuing to nurture and develop our charcuterie line, which now includes La Quercia, Creminelli, and Boccalone products . La Quercia Speck Americano is dry-cured for 8 to 10 months, then lightly smoked over apple wood, for sweet, supple flavor with just a hint of mellow smoke. La Quercia Prosciutto Americano is crafted from humanely-raised, antibiotic-free pork, with a deep, earthy and sweet flavor and supple texture. Creminelli comes to the table with  Salame al Barolo, Piccante Salame, Salame al Tartufo and Wild Boar Salame. We are also stocking Boccalone Nduja and Pancetta in limited quantities.

For chocolate, you’ll find two excellent producers in stock: Guittard and TCHO. Started in the Bay Area in the 1850s, Guittard offers 72%, 64%, 61%, and 55% Dark Chocolate, 38% Milk Chocolate  and 31% White Chocolate, along with their signature Cocoa Rouge Unsweetened Cocoa Powder. For TCHO, GreenLeaf stocks 68%, 60.5% and Cacao Nibs.

Find all your oil needs covered, from California Olive Ranch Arbequina to Rito Rice Bran Oil for consistent, high yield frying every time and La Tourangelle nut and seed oils.

And because it’s January, and time for slow-cooking, braises and comfort, remember to look to GreenLeaf for all of your dried beans, grains and spices, perfect for staving off the cold. Choose from butter beans and navy beans, black beans and kidney beans, cannellini and cranberry. Spices include everything from fennel seed to fennel pollen, whole cumin and cinnamon sticks. Fragrant bay leaves, heady vanilla beans and both kosher and sea salt are ready to complete your favorite winter dishes. And grains include pearled barley for your favorite soups, bulghur, spelt and quinoa for pilafs, and wheat berry for fresh bread baking.
