Earthbound Farm Organic was founded in the Carmel Valley in 1984, and was the first company to successfully launch pre-washed and packaged lettuce and 'spring mix' in the marketplace. Today, Earthbound is the largest grower of organic produce in the United States, yet they still adhere to their founding principle: Bringing delicious organic food to as many people as possible. Earthbound works with 200 dedicated organic farmers to grow their produce, and practice sustainability from their packaging to their farming practices.
